Parents, on Feb 2nd our 5th grade students attended a presentation by former DEA Rocky Herron on the dangers of drugs. In the upcoming months teachers will be revisiting these topics in class. Whoot Whoot! Ms Maria "Mari" Jimenez Romero is the Rock Springs Classified Employee of the year. Each morning Ms Mari welcomes students as they enter for the day. She watches over our students as a noon-time supervisor keeping them safe outside.


Rock Springs is excited to announce our Teacher of the Year - Ms. Marianne Emaas. We have been honored to have Ms. Emaas as part of the Rock Springs Family for 3 years as a Special Education teacher.

Join your child for lunch on February 7th at 12PM. Parents are invited to attend "100 ways to help your child" presentation, then enjoy lunch with your 3rd or 4th grader. Parents may bring a special lunch or students may pick up their lunch at the cafeteria.

In coordination with the 100th day of school and the Great Kindness Challenge, RS students collected over 100 socks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bars of soap, deodorant, and shampoo bottles. All donations will be given to EUSD Project Success, supporting families who are experiencing financial hardships.
