On Friday, September 23rd students in 1st-5th grade attended our first assembly of the year. Students were introduced to our new slogan "Rock Springs ROCKS" - Roadrunners of Character Keep Succeeding. Each day we encourage and teach our students how to demonstrate the six pillars of character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship.

End of year awards ceremonies will be held May 30th & 31st for TK - 4th grade:
- Teachers will notify parents if their child will be receiving an award.

Join us for 4th grade Lunch & Learn on Tuesday May 21st at 11:50AM. Offer Lesso of the EPD will be sharing safety tips for parents, then students will join their families for lunch in the MPR. You can bring a special lunch for your child, and the cafeteria is always serving up something good.

Save the date! Returning Student Registration and New Student Enrollment opens Tuesday, May 14, for all grades 2024-2025 school year. For the 2024-2025 school year, children are eligible for full-day Transitional Kindergarten if their date of birth is between September 2, 2019, and September 1, 2020. For full-day Kindergarten, eligible students must be age 5 on or before September 1, 2024.
Returning families will receive a letter by U.S. Mail with instructions for accessing the parent portal. It is essential that all returning students register through the online process in order to update essential information.
Parents of 3rd grade students are invited to join us on May 14th at 11:50AM. We have a special presentation by EPD Officer Lesso. He will share Traffic Safety tips for you and your child. Following the brief presentation our 3rd grade students will join us in the MPR to share lunch with their parents.

First, at 4:30PM Join our PTA for ways to support your child in this Digital world. (Reservations required for dinner)
Then starting at 5:30PM we open the gates and welcome families to visit their child's classroom at our annual Open House event.
Gates close at 6:30PM
Families of students who are a part of the Rock Springs Band. The Spring Concert will be held May 14th at California Center for the Arts. Tickets are required and must be requested in advance. There is no charge to attend this event. Order your tickets online beginning April 23rd.
