Yesterday, on August 23rd, Mr. Johnson hosted an assembly for the 4th and 5th graders to introduce the opportunity for 4th and 5th graders to join the 2022-23 Rock Springs band. Permission slips were sent home with interested students and more forms are available in the office. Rock Springs is excited to offer an expanded music program with Mr. Johnson this school year. 2nd graders will be attending a weekly music class and 3rd graders will be learning to play the recorders. We are so excited here, at Rock Springs, to hear our new 4th and 5th grade band members learn their instruments and host some concerts this year. We know our Roadrunners will rock the stage!
