It’s that time of year again! Hidden Valley Middle School is thrilled to announce our 2nd Annual Showcase, and we would love for your school communities to join us in celebrating the amazing things happening at HVMS. This event is a fantastic opportunity for students, staff, and families to explore the innovative programs, projects, and spaces that make HVMS unique.
We especially encourage 5th-grade students and their families to attend as a way to experience all that HVMS has to offer before they join us next year!

A Hands on Science Festival for all ages
Today, we had our Coffee with the Principal event. Parents and those present begin by introducing themselves. Then, Mr. Lopez talked about current and upcoming events happening at school such as the book fair, PTA fundraisers, open house, and Reclassification. Mrs. Lucero also spoke about the School Leadership Team, intervention services, and academic statistics. Parents also had the opportunity to share their opinions and what they would like to see happen at school. Glen View PTA Presents: Every Gator Gets a Book!
The book fair will be taking place February 24th - 28th.
Every student will receive one (1) free book during their library time.
Teachers will be provided with “Gator Bucks” to give their students to use at the book fair. Each Gator Buck is worth $12.99.
The book fair will still have books to purchase. Students can purchase additional books during library time, and after school on Thursday 2/27 and Friday 2/28. Students MUST be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Teachers may send any student who missed their library day to the Library on Friday between 1:05 – 2:20 pm. Students must bring their Gator Buck.

Yesterday, we hosted a Heart Collage Craft and Self-Esteem workshop alongside Vista Hill. We were very impressed that the students who attended this workshop were involved in our discussion about self-esteem. Finally, we were also surprised of every attendee's collage expertise.
