Good morning Rock Springs School!

Today is Wednesday, September 26, 2012. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 82 degrees.

This morning, we have a group of college bound roadrunners from _________________ class to lead us with the pledge.

On this Day in History:

On this day in 1888, famous American poet T.S. Eliot is born in St. Louis, Missouri.
Also, in 1969, television favorite, The Brady Bunch appears and becomes one of America's favorite sitcoms of all times.

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

When you get goosebumps and your hair stands, the hair helps to trap air, making you feel warmer by keeping in your body heat.

Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:

The word of the week is Trustworthiness, our first Pillar of Character:
There is no more fundamental ethical value than honesty. We associate honesty with people of honor, and we admire and rely on those who are honest. But honesty is a broader concept than many may realize. It involves both communications and conduct.
According to Thomas Jefferson, Founding Father and third U.S. president, "I have not observed mens honesty to increase with their riches."

This concludes today’s announcements. Thank you college bound roadrunners, and remember,
“Keep a smile on your face, it will increase your face value!”
