Good morning Rock Springs School!

Today is Wednesday, September 19, 2012. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 86 degrees.

This morning, we have a group of college bound roadrunners from _________________ class to lead us with the pledge.

On this Day in History:

On September 19, 1988, just one day after sustaining a head injury in a frightening accident, American diver Greg Louganis wins gold in the springboard competition at the Summer Olympics, in Seoul, South Korea. It was his second consecutive Olympic gold in the event.

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

Honeybees have remained unchanged in form or structure for 20 million years.

Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:

The word of the Day is Citizenship. As the second C in TRRFCC, Citizenship is represented by the color purple. When thinking of citizanship, Think regal purple.
According to Ralph Waldo Emerson, American essayist, public philosopher and poet, "Life is not so short but that there is always time enough for courtesy."

This concludes today’s announcements. Thank you college bound roadrunners, and remember,
“Keep a smile on your face, it will increase your face value!”
