Good Morning Rock Springs School!

Today is Tuesday, November 27, 2012. The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies, with a high around 72 degrees.

This morning, we have a group of college bound roadrunners from _________________ class to lead us with the pledge.

November 27th is officially, "National Bavarian Cream Pie Day".

On this Day in History:

On this day in 1940, the actor and martial-arts expert Bruce Lee is born in San Francisco, California. Also on this day in 1942, guitar legend Jimi Hendrix is born in Seattle.

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

Eighty-five percent of all the plants and animals live in the sea.

Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:

The Pillar of the Week is Respect, the second Pillar of Character, represented by the colors yellow or gold:
Respect is an important way of being kind and good to other people. Respect means not making fun of others. Respect means thinking of how somebody else feels. Respect is treating another person the same way you’d want to be treated yourself!
According to Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens), American humorist, author and journalist, “ Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”

This concludes today’s announcements. Thank you college bound roadrunners, and remember,
“Keep a smile on your face, it will increase your face value!”
