Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:

It's Pillars of Character Week at RSU! Are you a TRRFCC (terrific) student? If you are, then you are demonstrating the Six Pillars of Character.
Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, and Citizenship. 

All year we've been talking about the Pillars of Character. During our last few days of school I challenge you to do something each day that demonstrates the Pillar of the Day. The Pillar for today is Citizenship, our sixth Pillar of Character, represented by the color purple. When you think about citizenship, think regal purple as representing the state.

According to Thomas Jefferson, Founding Father and third U.S. president, "A nation, as a society, forms a moral person, and every member of it is personally responsible for his society."

Awards Assemblies will take place in the MPR today.

5th grade will have their awards on Tomorrow during promotion. Promotion will be held tomorrow at 9:30 in the MPR.

Also tomorrow, we will have our annual Field Day for grades K-4 on the playground in the morning.
