Good morning Rock Springs School!

Today is Thursday, September 27, 2012. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 84 degrees.

This morning, we have a group of college bound roadrunners from _________________ class to lead us with the pledge.

On this Day in History:

On this day in 1779, the Continental Congress appoints John Adams to travel to France as minister plenipotentiary in charge of negotiating treaties of peace and commerce with Great Britain during the Revolutionary War.

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

If a person or an animal is born colorblind, they instantly have excellent night vision.

Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:

The word of the week is Trustworthiness, our first Pillar of Character:
Truthfulness is presenting the facts to the best of our knowledge. Intent is the crucial distinction between truthfulness and truth itself. Being wrong is not the same thing as lying, although honest mistakes can still damage trust insofar as they may show sloppy judgment.
According to Edgar J. Mohn, author and poet, "A lie has speed, but truth has endurance."

This concludes today’s announcements. Thank you college bound roadrunners, and remember,
“Keep a smile on your face, it will increase your face value!”
