Good morning Rock Springs School!

Today is Thursday, October 25, 2012. The forecast is calling sunny skies this morning, with a high around 80 degrees.

This morning, we have a group of college bound roadrunners from _________________ class to lead us with the pledge.

October 25 is officially, "World Pasta Day".

On this Day in History:

On this day in 1881, Pablo Picasso, one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century, is born in Malaga, Spain.

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

The average person falls asleep in seven minutes.

Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:

The word of the week is Caring, our fifth Pillar of Character, represented by the color red:
The highest form of caring is the honest expression of benevolence, or altruism.
According to a Frank A. Clark, newspaper columnist, "Real generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find out."

A Few Final Announcements:

Teachers, please make sure your classroom computers and the mini-lab computers are on each day. This helps with keeping them up-to-date and ready for use. Maybe make it a job for some of your reliable students to turn the computers on each morning.

Tomorrow is RSU Friday! That means we will be having our Friday morning spirit assemble. Be sure to wear your RSU t-shirt and don't forget to join Mrs. Frank after-school for a Frog Spit!

This concludes today’s announcements. Thank you college bound roadrunners, and remember,
“Keep a smile on your face, it will increase your face value!”
