On this Day in History:

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:
You shed and regrow your skin every 28 days, that's about 1,000 times in a lifetime.
Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:
The Pillar of the Week is Respect, our second Pillar of Character, represented by the color yellow or gold. When you think about respect, think "The Golden Rule".
A respectful person is an attentive listener, treats others with consideration, and doesn't resort to intimidation. A respectful person also accepts individual differences and beliefs without prejudice and judges others only on their character, abilities and conduct.
According to Booker T. Washington, American educator, "I shall allow no man to belittle my soul by making me hate him."
It's 5th grade week!
Staff meeting today at 1:30 in room 56. If you have not yet submitted your daily schedule, please do so.
Tomorrow is RSU Friday. We'll see everyone in the Character Counts Quad tomorrow morning.
This concludes today’s announcements. Thank you college bound roadrunners, and remember,
“Keep a smile on your face, it will increase your face value!”
