Today is Thursday, May 29, 2014. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies today with a high of about 79 degrees.

Put A Pillow On Your Fridge Day
On this Day in History:

Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:
The Pillar of the Week is Caring, our fifth Pillar of Character, represented by the color red. When you think about caring, think of a red heart.
Refuse to Argue and Pick Your Battles. Engaging in a conversation with another person is a choice we make (whether we always do so consciously or not). Make a conscious effort to note when you're entering into an argument, and then just stop. Remember, not every argument is worth engaging in so don't feel like you have to get into an argument just because someone else is asking for one.
According to an Indian proverb, "He who allows his day to pass by without practicing generosity and enjoying life's pleasures is like a blacksmith's bellows: he breathes but does not live."
The fire drill for today is postponed until tomorrow at 1:15.
Lost Book Week! Teachers, please check your boxes for overdue lists. Send the students to the library to search the shelves. Students with overdue or missing books will not receive their report cards.
Teachers: all Book Room Books need to be returned to the Book Room this Friday.
We will be having a spirit day each Friday for the remainder of the year. This Friday will be Aloha Day!
Character Counts Spirit Week: June 2 - June 6
