Good morning Rock Springs School!

Today is Monday, May 7, 2012. We should have a nice day today with some low clouds and fog in the morning, becoming mostly sunny with a high of 70 degrees.

Once again, your teacher will take care of doing the pledge with you in class due to testing.


On this day in 1789, President George Washington attends a ball in his honor. The event provided a model for the first official inaugural ball. Washington was sworn in as the first president of the United States on April 30, 1789. A week later, an elaborate ball was held to celebrate the event in New York, the temporary headquarters of the federal government, in a building on Broadway near Wall Street.

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

If a person or an animal is born colorblind, they instantly have excellent night vision.
