Good morning Rock Springs School!

Today is Friday, September 28, 2012. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and a high of 87 degrees.

This morning, we have a group of college bound roadrunners from _________________ class to lead us with the pledge.

On this Day in History:

In 1542, Portuguese explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo sails into present-day San Diego Bay during the course of his explorations of the northwest shores of Mexico on behalf of Spain. It was the first known European encounter with California.

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

The human body contains about 6,000 miles of blood vessels.

Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:

The word of the week is Trustworthiness, our first Pillar of Character:
Do you remember what color represents Trustworthiness? To be Trustworthy is to be "true blue"
According to Donald T. Regan, American business executive, Treasury Secretary, chief of staff for President Ronald Reagan, "When all else fails, tell the truth."

This concludes today’s announcements. Thank you college bound roadrunners, and remember,
“Keep a smile on your face, it will increase your face value!”
