Good Morning Rock Springs School!

Today is Friday, November 30, 2012. The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a chance of showers and a high of around 68 degrees.

This morning, we have a group of college bound roadrunners from _________________ class to lead us with the pledge.

November 30th is officially, "National Stay At Home Because You're Well Day".

On this Day in History:

On this day in 1835 – Samuel Clemens, later known as Mark Twain, is born in Florida, Missouri.

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

Dolphins and whales are mammals that don't drink water.

Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:

The Pillar of the Week is Respect, the second Pillar of Character, represented by the colors yellow or gold:
Think about some ways that you can show respect! Listening to others is one good example. If someone’s opinion is different than yours, you can show respect by listening even if you don’t agree with what they think!
You can also show respect by using good manners. Would you like it if someone interrupted you all the time while you were speaking? Probably not! Polite manners are a great way of being respectful.
According to a Margaret Chase Smith, politician, “One of the basic causes for all the trouble in the world today is that people talk too much and think too little. They act impulsively without thinking. I always try to think before I talk.”

This concludes today’s announcements. Thank you college bound roadrunners, and remember,
“Keep a smile on your face, it will increase your face value!”
