Good morning Rock Springs School!

Welcome to Frog Spit Friday, May 4, 2012. The forecast calls for partly cloudy skies in the morning...becoming mostly sunny with a high of 74 today.

Once again, your teacher will take care of doing the pledge with you in class due to testing.



On this day in 1776, Rhode Island, the colony founded by the Puritans of Massachusetts Bay Colony, becomes the first North American colony to renounce its allegiance to King George III. Ironically, Rhode Island would be the last state to ratify the new American Constitution more than 14 years later on May 29, 1790.

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

The burning sensation we get from chilli peppers is because of a chemical called Capsaicin.
