Good Morning Rock Springs School!

Today is Friday, December 21, 2012. The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with a  high of around 65 degrees.

This morning, we have a group of college bound roadrunners from Mrs. Zacharias' class to lead us with the pledge.

Next week we will be joined by Mr. Plunkett's third grade for the pledge.

December 21st is officially, "Humbug Day".

On this Day in History:

On this day in 1968, Apollo 8, the first manned mission to the moon, is successfully launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida

Here’s a random Science Facts for today:

An average Christmas tree takes 15 years to grow.

Your Character Counts at Rock Springs School:

The Pillar of the Week is Caring, the fifth Pillar of Character, represented by the color red:
According to The Grinch, former hermit of Whoville, "Maybe Christmas doesn't come from a store."

This concludes today’s announcements. Thank you college bound roadrunners, and remember,
“Keep a smile on your face, it will increase your face value!”
